Action against Human Trafficking

Human trafficking is a massive global problem. The number of men, women and children in servitude across the world is at an unprecedented level and continues to rise almost unabated. London is a major centre for trafficking with countless numbers of victims, many of whom are abandoned by the state, left with no safe space in which they can rebuild their lives.

The Cottman Foundation is delighted to be working in partnership with the amazing Ella’s to support their outstanding work caring for victims of human trafficking via their safe houses in London as well as through their outreach work across London and beyond.

This partnership launched in 2019 with the refurbishment of Ella’s second safe house in South London. The Cottman Foundation funded part of that work, including the installation of a new kitchen, and will continue to support Ella’s in diverse ways as it cares for women at a critical moment in their recovery.

Please support this wonderful work and help us to keep women safe and give them the pride and opportunity to rebuild their lives.
